The 2009 World Cyber Games no longer has a home Counter-Strike side after TyLoo suffered a 2-0 defeat to mTw. mTw are through to the semi-finals of the World Cyber Games 2009 with a 2-0 win over TyLoo in a match they were forced to come back from huge deficits on two occasions. Things did not look good for mTw on de_inferno as a rampant start by TyLoo saw the Chinese team claim an early 8-0 lead. But then mTw started to get their game flowing and they went into the second half down by just three rounds. In the second half, mTw looked like an improved team, but they found the win anything but easy as it came by only in the very last round, making it a 16-14 result. On de_train it was the same story all over, as mTw only woke up when they were down 8-0, making once again six rounds in the first half. The Danish giants could have easily nailed the victory but they wasted three match points, allowing TyLoo to force the match into an overtime. In the OT, mTw controlled the action and registered a double 2-1 score line to come out 19-17 winners. |
