ESEA's tenth season's online phase is complete and it's time for the LAN finals where North America's six best teams will battle it out for a shot at $10,000. Season 10 will be the first one to not feature Evil Geniuses at the LAN finals as the team disbanded a little over half way through the season with Paul "pauLy" Guerboyan rejoining Nazar "steno" Vynnytsky in Ultimax Gaming. In the online season Kory "semphis" Friesen's Back2Back Gaming ended up on top with a 14-2 record, closely trailed by Check Six featuring former coL and EG players Danny "fRoD" Montaner and Tyler "Storm" Wood.
As always the event will be played out in a double elimination best-of-three format where the grand final will feature up to two best-of-three series. First two maps are pre-determined for each round, while vetoing and a draw will be used to determine the final map if necessary.
All matches will feature HLTVs provided by ESEA and you can find the IPs here. Additionally, ESEA will provide a live stream for some of the matches with English commentary by Ronald "Rambo" Kim among others.
While HLTV.org will not be actively covering ESEA season 10 finals, you can expect a results post on Sunday to wrap up the event and find out who is the latest ESEA champion following Evil Geniuses' five consecutive championships. Time is adjusted to your selected timezone |
